Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta sits on a wide beach in the Hotel Zone, ten minutes from the airport. The property splits in two: the Resort, built around the family pools and the beach, and The Hacienda, a quieter wing of suites for couples.

The Resort section has 259 rooms, some with a balcony, terrace or jacuzzi, and views of the sea, part of it or the resort. Junior Suites run from 50 square metres with a private balcony to 70 square metres facing the water with a terrace jacuzzi. The Hacienda has 192 suites, some with a private pool, terrace or balcony, and an adults-only pool.
Buffet and à la carte menus are served across the Resort's nine restaurants and bars. The Hacienda adds specialty restaurants and a gourmet breakfast. Room service runs 24 hours, and the minibar is restocked daily.
Four pools share the grounds. Kamp Krystal runs supervised activities for children from 4 to 12, and Adventure Friends gives teenagers pool tables, air hockey, foosball and games consoles. The spa has the only flotarium in the bay.
It suits families who want the beach and a kids' programme, with the Hacienda for couples who want a quieter corner.
