Garza Blanca Preserve sits on the Pacific side of Puerto Vallarta, built in 2008 and sharing the Preserve with its sister hotel Mousai. It faces a natural cove of Bahía de Banderas that makes the beach swimmable, and infinity pools overlook the Pacific. The resort is 40 minutes from Puerto Vallarta airport.

Suites are the main draw. Honeymoon suites have a terrace with a jacuzzi and views of the ocean, the city lights and the Sierra Madre. Ocean-view suites come with a balcony, a hammock, a king bed and a bathroom with a freestanding shower and a deep tub. For groups there are two-bedroom suites with a wraparound terrace and a three-bedroom suite with a private hot tub. The Sanctuary tower alone holds 118 rooms and suites.
Seven restaurants cover Mexican, seafood, steakhouse, Japanese, Korean BBQ and Asian cooking. Blanca Blue, Bocados Steakhouse and Aquazul are the signature three. Guests also dine at Mousai, where Hiroshi, DAO (contemporary Chinese) and NOI (modern Italian with fresh pasta) are adults only, and at Karuma, a new steakhouse in TierraLuna Gardens.
The spa sits in the jungle with views of the Pacific. A kids' club and supervised adventures keep children busy, and children aged 4 to 12 pay half price on the all-inclusive plan.
