Rooms come in four tiers: Superior, Deluxe, Family Oasis and the Exclusive Collection Space. The Family Oasis, built around two-bedroom Deluxe rooms, has an oceanfront pool and an all-day snack and mocktail bar. The Exclusive Collection Space is the adults' retreat within the resort, with Suites and Deluxe rooms designed by Marc Hertrich, an infinity pool looking out at the Caribbean, a lounge bar, a concierge, private transfer and unlimited champagne by the glass from 6 pm.
Dining runs on a signature buffet or à la carte plan, with Mexican cooking and a specialty restaurant that Exclusive Collection guests can book with priority. The Club Med Spa by Sothys offers Temazcal rituals.
The days belong to activities: 31 are included and 34 more on demand. Sailing, snorkeling, kayaking and stand-up paddling go from the beaches, and there is a flying trapeze school with circus activities, tennis, pickleball, archery, team sports and more than 20 hours of yoga a week in the yoga palapa. Scuba diving costs extra. Children are looked after from birth to 17: Baby Club Med, Petit Club Med, Mini Club Med and teen clubs, with trapeze from age 4, sailing from 6 and snorkeling from 8.
